Kimberly Randell, MD, MSc, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Her research and advocacy focus on addressing psychosocial determinants of health in order to improve the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and their families. Her current projects include optimizing support within pediatric healthcare settings for families experiencing intimate partner violence and brief interventions to promote healthy adolescent relationships and connect adolescents to resources for relationship abuse, reproductive coercion, and sexual exploitation.
